As a team game, cricket demands an exceptional variety of specialist skills, as well as accommodating a variety of physical types. Players have to perform different roles in different phases of the match. There is a culture of mutual respect, whilst also teaching children the importance of self-reliance and practice.
External competition league(s)
Seniors play in the North Lancashire and Cumbria League. Juniors play at under 11, under 13 and under 15 level in the Barrow and District league.

All coaches are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked and have England Cricket Board (ECB) coaching qualifications.
